Al founded Hayes, Davidson Advertising in 1978 and served as Chairman and Creative Director of Hayes Orlie Cundall, its successor agency, until he left at the beginning of 2004 to form The Hayes Company. During his years heading his own agency, he created similar makeovers for dozens of companies. These include startups, smaller companies (Eurø Style, Cable·Rail and Venezia for example), and giants such as Kaiser Permanente, Chevron, Konica and Owens Corning. He’s a much–awarded writer and designer.
