Art lifts the spirit!
In Sausalito, known as an artists’ haven, there is no shortage of access to art, and one of the best is coming your way.
Sausalito Village presents its Annual Art Exhibit November 3, 2019 - January 5, 2020.
The call has gone out to SV members and volunteers, encouraging artists and authors to enter their work.
In its early years Sausalito Village celebrated its founding with events in which art works by a variety of its members were informally exhibited. For Carolyn Zaroff, artist and founding member of SV, it was an obvious and easy move to organize the first formal art exhibit in 2013. With the help of others who provided food and music, the event was held in the Council Chambers and was a whopping success.
In the ensuing years the event moved to the Library to expand the exhibit spaceand to increase access during the Library’s operating hours.

Opening Reception at Sausalito Library
November 3, 6:00-8:00 pm
Open to the public without charge, music by the Nob Hill Ensemble, a delightful array of finger foods and drinks including wine. Approximately 25 artists whose media include painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, fiber, glass, ceramic and mixed media will participate. Many of the pieces are for sale. Authors will also have their published works on hand at the Reception to discuss and sell.
