The Sausalito Village Book Club, which started in 2011, is having a re-organization meeting at a new time and place on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:30-2:00 in the Game Room at City Hall. We haven’t chosen a book for this meeting, so instead please bring a list to share of 5-6 books you’ve read and liked in the past year, and be prepared to say a word or two about them.
At this meeting, we’ll discuss how we want the book club to work, and which day of the week works best for everyone. We meet once a month, and the last Tuesday of the month will not necessarily be our regular meeting time, but we would like to do 12:30-2:00 so that using CARSS is an option for those who don’t drive.
In the past, one member chose a book each month to be discussed at the next meeting; but another
option is to discuss books we’ve read in the past month.
The Game Room is on the ground floor of City Hall, next to the Parks and Recreation office. You can park in City Hall parking lot and take the stairs down to the ground floor or take the elevator. If you take the elevator, when you get to the ground floor, you need to go down the hall and outside, turn left and go around to the entrance door on the side of the building. Another option is to park on the street and enter through the side door on the ground floor.
