September's film is a new Brittish film shot in Wales called  'The Ballad of Wallis Island'. (It has a 97% rotten tomatoes score.)

The film follows famed singer and songwriter Herb McGwyer (Tom Basden) as he travels to a secluded island for an unusual gig:  to perform for widowed nurse (turned wealthy lottery winner) Charles.

But because Charles has a little more in mind then watching a concert, (like to reunite Herb with his former girlfriend/folk duo partner Nell,  (played by multi-Academy Award nominated actress Carrie Mulligan), Herb is forced to deal with his past love, and to 'find himself' emotionally, musically, and spiritually along the way.  

This tender and heartwarming story about an unlikely friendship is told perfectly with its laugh out loud dry British sense of humor,  and quiet strength that is sure to move you.
