Did you always want to become an artist, but went into different career? Now that you have
time, why not become that artist you wanted to be. Lucinda Eubanks, resident artist at Cavallo
Point has created a watercolor workshop just for you!

Join Lucinda for four, two hour classes over two weeks where you will learn the basics of the
colors in the palette, mixing and how to use the colors to create a painting you just might want
to frame. There will also be instruction on drawing, composition and perspective.

May 13th from 1 to 3PM, we will meet at The Pines mansion at 33 Miller Avenue to learn the basics of mixing and get
familiar with the colors. We will be creating a painting from a photograph.

May 16th from 1 to 3PM, we will meet on location to paint plein air. (that’s fancy talk for
painting outside) Here, you will learn how to observe the colors in nature and mix those colors
to create a landscape.

May 20th from 1 to 3PM, we will meet back at The Pines mansion at 33 Miller Avenue for more instruction on color,
including painting something clear; like a glass vase or a wine bottle. You will need to bring
your own subject to paint from.

May 23 from 1 to 3PM, we are back on location in front of your easel to create a seascape.
Learn how to create the movement of water. How fun is that?!

No experience is necessary, all you need to do is show up with a positive attitude and a
willingness to learn. All the supplies are provided. You must commit to all 4 classes.
