Documentary made by Jayne Mansfield's daughter,  Mariska Hargitay 

Mariska Hargitay is best-known for having starred in Law & Order: SVU for more than 25 years. But she's also the daughter of 1950's movie star Jayne Mansfield, who died in a car crash when Hargitay was only three years old. Hargitay and two of her brothers were in the car, in the back seat, and they all survived. 

Hargiatay creates a touching portrait of a family in a spotlight that ended abruptly,  and then struggled like everyone else.  Through interviews with family members, and others that were close to Jayne, she uses the documentary to uncover the mysteries of her life, and in the process exposes some meaningful truths about her own life, and her mom, Jayne.
